Designing for Behavior Change

Improving Emotional Health and Health Plan Outcomes

Pyx Health is a mobile, scalable platform designed to address loneliness and social isolation for vulnerable populations through AI technology and human intervention. Mobile app users are provided care, resources, and companionship when they need it most, supported by 24/7 human support.

Vision — To provide stimulating virtual pet activities that encourage better behavioral health through activity-based interactions and positive psychology.

The existing platform has been proven to reduce inpatient and emergency department spend by $5,083 per member in the 6 months following use. With the improved user experience, the addition of virtual pets, and Machine Learning for personalization, it is slated to benefit more older adults, decrease hospitalizations, and further reduce health plan costs!
